Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (RN ED)
SHIFTS: 1pm-1am

Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients with various medical conditions and injuries. You will work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure timely and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including triage, assessment, and treatment of patients presenting in the emergency department
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and assist with emergency interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure patient safety and quality of care
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide education and support
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS, ACLS, PALS , NIHSS, TNCC certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an emergency department setting
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
